Our Story

The Lennox Dog Collar Company started when Mack, the family's resident German Shorthair, had worn out his leather collar. The search began for a new and improved leather dog collar. It needed to be durable, comfortable and utilitarian, but of course had to reflect Mack's unique personality and keen sense of style!

Well, fortunately, the search was unsuccessful and the Lennox Dog Collar Company was born.

Founders Gary Lennox and Allison Blaue-Lennox had the good fortune of growing up in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. The surrounding rivers, outdoor music festivals, back country and resort skiing, camping, climbing and hiking all inspired the Lennox Dog Collar Company. Nature and outdoor utility, coupled with the sophistication of Colorado and the dog-friendly culture helped to mold the distinct style, functionality and design of Lennox Dog Collars.

For nearly two years countless furry friends from their community served as models as the design process went from rugged prototypes to final product completion. The preservation, respect and restoration of the environment has been and continues to be a central concern for the Lennox Family and that is why the Lennox Dog Collar Company commits 1% of its profits each year to various credible organizations that work with environmental issues.
